Wheelchair Dancesport demo

Wheelchair Dancesport Demonstration at the Royal Albert Hall
EADA are delighted to announce that the Wheelchair Dance Sport Association (UK) will be performing on behalf of EADA at the Exercise Movement & Dance Partnership’s show at the Royal Albert Hall on 5th June 2010.  The show, “Moving Together”, uses the themes of colour to unite various styles of dance and movement.  Around 20 couples from across the country, both combis (one wheelchair one standing) and duos (both in wheelchairs) will be taking part in the piece entitled ”Latin Heat” which will combine a rumba, paso doble and samba.   Sue Cummings and Ruth Boyne are the country’s leading instructors in wheelchair dancesport as well as our paralympic reps, and will be producers for the piece.    We are grateful that they kindly agreed to move their first competition to September, in order that they could perform at this event.  We wish them every success with preparation.
Further details of the event will follow but tickets are likely to go on sale from October.
