CHANGE TO NRE VENUE: 14th November
The Two Richards competition on 14th November which was to be held at the Tower Ballroom, will now be held at the Jaguar Sports & Social Club, Chester Rd, Castle Vale, B35 7RA in Birmingham.   Amateur Ballroom and Senior III Ballroom NRE competitors please take note of the change of venue.  

 
We would like to stress again that EADA will not prevent couples from dancing in any competition; the IDSF however, may take action against anyone competing in unregistered events and EADA are unable to select couples for World & European Championships who are facing an IDSF ban.
 
 

MIDLANDS CHAMPIONSHIPS 11 October, Birmingham - Please note that the entry deadline is 29th September.  Please contact John Knight before this date if you wish to enter.  Entries on the day will not be accepted.

SEQUENCE TRAINING: We are sorry to announce that we have had to reschedule the Sequence training day on 21st November due to the clash with a sequence competition that has now been scheduled for this date.  Further details of the new training date will be released shortly.

Spot Turn Ballroom have expanded and moved into larger premises.  Their new address is: 21C Stanley Road, Bournemouth BH1 4SD.  Their phone number remains the same.

CHANGE TO YOUTH BALLROOM NRE START TIME   12th September
Please note that there has been a change to the start time of the Youth ballroom NRE at the Horndean competition, organised by James & Claire Taplin,  on 12th September.  The event will now start at 2pm rather than 3.30pm to allow youth competitors to finish earlier.

Senior II NREs now 5-dance from the first round

Following problems that have been experienced with dances being ommitted from Senior II NREs by mistake, the Council has decided to change the NRE guidelines so that all Senior II NREs (Ballroom & Latin) will be a 5-dance from the first round, with immediate effect.  Promoters will be contacted in due course.

CHANGE TO NRES IN OCT & DEC
Please note that due to venue problems, the NREs at Philip Wylies comps in October and December have had to be rescheduled.  These are:
Youth Latin & Senior II Latin on 24th October
Juvenile Latin & Senior III Ballroom on 12th December
They will be held at his comp on 19th December 2010, at the Thistle London Heathrow Hotel.
