Dutch Open 2009
Congratulations to Lloyd Perry and Rebecca Scott who came 1st in the Juvenile Ballroom and 2nd in the Juvenile Latin and to Andrey Sirbu & Alexandra Hixson who came 5th in the Amateur Ballroom competition at the Dutch Open in Assen.

European Youth 10-dance

Well done to Jonas Kazluaskas & Jasmine Chan who came 16th in the European 10-dance Championships in Minsk.

World Am Latin

Congratulations to Neil Jones and Ekaterina Sokolova who placed 13th in the World Amateur Latin Championships in Maribor on 7th November and to Alejandro Hernandez & Kerri-Ann Donaldson who placed =41st out of 89 couples.  The event was won by Alexey Silde & Anna Firstova from Russia.

World Amateur Ballroom


Congratulations to Mark & Olga Elsbury and Richard Still & Morgan Hemphill who have been selected to represent England in the World Amateur Ballroom Championships in Aarhus, Denmark on 28th November.  Unfortunately we regret that Mark & Olga are no longer able to attend due to problems with passport and immigration.


European Youth 10-dance

Congratulations to Jonas Kazlauskas & Jasmine  Chan who have been selected to represent England in the IDSF European Youth 10-Dance Championship in Minsk, Belarus, on 14th November 2009.

World Youth 10 dance

Congratulations to Jonas Kazlauskas & Jasmine Chan who came =19th in the World Youth 10-dance in Moscow, out of a field of 40 couples.

World SEnior Latin

Congratulations to Mark Powell & Kim Parsons who came 20th and Steve & Sue Witherington who came 23rd in the World Senior I Latin in liege, Belgium.  44 couples took part.

World Latin Formation

Good luck to the Fever Dance Company (from Preston) and XS Latin (from Cambridgeshire) Formation teams who will be representing England in the World Latin American Formation Championships in Bremen in December.

Wheelchair Europeans

England will be represented  in the European Wheelchair dancesport championships, which is being held in Israel this week. 120 dancers from 25 different countries will be taking part.

World Amateur 10-dance

Congratulations to Richard Still & Morgan Hemphill who made the semi-finals of the World Amateur 10-dance Championships in Spain.  They placed 14th out of 33 couples.
